So, healer types in this game make up potions. This means they need bottles. Because I’m an oddball, I’ve already sourced some options through Specialty Bottles, SKS Bottles, and Bulk Apothecary. My plans are to prep these by adding faux leader to the tops, so they they look like molded leather and will have the proper look. There are tons of ways to finish them in addition to the faux leather. They could be wrapped in twine, or any other million ideas. I might even make some neat aged labels to put on them, just because I can…
In addition to the needed plastic bottles, I think I’ll ultimately put together an apothecary style setup. One great tool I’ve found, which is handy because I burn a candle almost daily, is that walmart carries 1$ small jar candles. As they’ve burned down I’ve been saving the jars, planning to use them both for packing Larp type foods, in addition to using them for the intended apothecary setup, which will probobly be put in a basket or box or some sort. I’ll figure out more of that over time, I’m sure… For this kit, I’m planning to populate it with “cures” that I can mix and compound made of things like sugar, koolaide mix, salt and other safe-for-nearly-everyone type products. I’ll probobly almost make colored rock candy because it’ll look interesting.
Anyways… I figured I should post something because I haven’t posted in awhile. I’m working on an IC letter exchange type story thing with Jake, who plays Reyna’s cousin, but that’s still early days, so it could well be awhile before it gets posted. It really could… In an effort to keep it up with ideas I figure I’ll keep looking for tutorials and ideas to talk about on here. There’s tons of things I could talk about.
